SSW regenerates for the new start

SSW stellt sich für den Neustart auf

Simultaneously with the realization of orders for new ships, SSW is regenerating in the fields engineering and logistics. This includes the conclusion of binding contracts with first-class, renowned engineering companies. With their assistance, SSW will be handling the orders for the new ships as announced in the company's concept thanks to their excellent know-how in the yard branch and/or shipbuilding industry and use of state of the art CAD/CAM technologies. Particular attention will be paid to the yard's specifics: standardization, planning as well as quality management.

Cooperation agreements have been signed with the following companies:
 

- Schiffko Hamburg, a renowned engineering company in the field of shipbuilding for the requirements profile initial and basic ship design.
 

- IPM Lübeck, an engineering company and provider of internet-based materials control applications (ASP) MARS-Material and of work in the field of initial and basic design of hull and mechanical equipment as well as planning and scheduling tasks.
 

- VUYK Engineering Groningen, Holland, for extended basic design, modelling of the ship in each case in basic design and in Nupas Cadmatic as well as preparation of the workshop documents in cooperation with SSW. Vuyk Engineering, a firm integrated in the NIG Central Industry Group N.V. Groningen with subsidiaries in Holland and Germany, is a renowned engineering company with long years of practical experience and two locations in Holland.

- LOGIMATIC Denmark makes available through IPM-Lübeck MARS-Material as ASP application. The employees of the former Aalborg Shipyard in Denmark developed this time-tested materials control application that has been available on the market since 1987 and is especially intended for the shipbuilding industry. Approximately 50 renowned shipyards throughout the world are using MARS-Material with great success.

Einhergehend mit der Umsetzung von Neubauaufträgen stellt sich SSW in den Bereichen Konstruktion und Logistik neu auf. Dieses beinhaltet den Abschluss verbindlicher Verträge mit erstklassigen, am Markt bekannten Ingenieurgesellschaften, mit deren Hilfe SSW die Neubauaufträge, wie im Unternehmenskonzept angekündigt, mit excellentem Know-How aus der Werftbranche bzw. Schiffbauindustrie unter Verwendung modernster CAD/CAM-Technologie abwickeln wird. Dabei werden die Werftspezifika Normung/Standardisierung, Planung wie auch Qualitätsmanagement besondere Beachtung finden.

Mit den folgenden Unternehmen sind Zusammenarbeitsverträge abgeschlossen worden:

- Schiffko Hamburg, als eine im Schiffbau sehr bekannte und angesehene Ingenieurgesellschaft für das Anforderungsprofil schiffbauliches Initial- und Basic Design.

- IPM Lübeck, als Ingenieurgesellschaft und Provider für die Bereitstellung der internetfähigen Materialwirtschaftapplikation (ASP) MARS-Material und für Arbeiten im Bereich Initial und Basic Design in der schiffbaulichen und maschinenbaulichen Ausrüstung sowie Planungs- und AV-Aufgaben.

- VUYK Engineering Groningen, Holland, für das Extended Basic Design, die Modellierung des jeweiligen Schiffes in Nupas Cadmatic und die Erstellung der Werkstattunterlagen in Zusammenarbeit mit SSW. Vuyk Engineering ist eine bekannte, praxiserfahrene Ingenieurgesellschaft mit zwei Standorten in Holland und ist eingebunden in die NIG Central Industry Group N.V. Groningen mit Niederlassungen in den Niederlanden und Deutschland.

- die Firma LOGIMATIC Dänemark stellt über IPM-Lübeck als ASP-Applikation MARS-Material zur Verfügung. Diese gestandene Materialwirtschaftsapplikation, die speziell für die Werftindustrie entwickelt wurde, ist seit 1987 am Markt und wurde von den Mitarbeitern der ehemaligen Aalborg Werft in Dänemark entwickelt. MARS-Material ist bereits auf ca. 50 namhaften Werften weltweit erfolgreich im Einsatz.
